I've lived in East Belfast for the past 13 years and I absolutely love the grit and resilience of our city, but I grew up in Brazil surrounded by music, art, texture, colour and the beach. When I set up Yellow Zest I wanted to bring the vibrancy and diversity of where I'm from into the way I worked with clients, celebrating diverse voices in design and in my community. it shows up in the textures we reach for, the colours we're not afraid to use, the way we approach a brief.

Our team brings its own mix of backgrounds too, and that shared perspective is exactly what makes us different: real local roots, with the confidence to be bolder and brighter than what's expected.

Like lemons, we're resilient. We're adaptable. We bring spark to what we do. Zest is the best part of the lemon — the part with all the flavour — and that's exactly what we wanted to bring to branding: the energy, creativity and transformative power to turn every opportunity into something bold.

You can see it in our East Belfast studio too — books, plants, local art on the walls. Come by if you're ever on the Newtownards Road, and we'll put the kettle on.
